Dear 3rd graders!

You are just about finished with your year of 4th grade! I want you to write to the third graders, and tell them about 4th grade! Tell them about highlights, your teacher, what you learned, tell them everything about 4th grade that you can!!!! Review the year- try and remember all of the field trips. Garretson Field Trip

4th graders, I want you to tell me about every detail of your field trip from yesterday. Tell me where you went, and what you did (IN ORDER.) Tell me all of the facts from the pontoon ride as you remember. Tell me who was all in your group, and what you saw on the tour. Tell me about what you ate for lunch, and how cool it was to eat in God's beautiful nature. What did you do after lunch?

How God made owls so special!

We have been discussing Owls for the past few days. I want you to tell me as much as you have learned about them!

First of all, tell me all of the owl's adaptations, and the purpose of each one.

Then tell me what owls eat.

Palm Sunday through Good Friday

We have begun taking an in depth look at Jesus' last week on earth before his Crucifixion. Tell me what he did each day.

Palm Sunday?

How did he enter Jerusalem? What did that show us about what kind of a guy Jesus was?

What was the first thing Jesus did once he entered Jerusalem?

What did he do on Thursday? Why did Jesus do that with his disciples?

What two men betrayed Jesus? and how?

Tell me all about Good Friday? How did it happen that Jesus was the one to get killed, when he committed no crime? What two men tried to tell the people he did nothing wrong?

Tell me about his death on the cross.

Aslan and Jesus

We just finished reading the Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe. Aslan made a huge sacrifice without complaining- and we connected that to Jesus, our saviour.

I want you to tell me why Aslan had to die. Tell me why Jesus had to die. The explain both of their deaths- where did they die, who killed them, what were the people saying?

Then explain to me what happened after Aslan and Jesus were dead? Why did this happen, and why are we SO thankful to GOd that this happened to Jesus??
