We just finished reading the Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe. Aslan made a huge sacrifice without complaining- and we connected that to Jesus, our saviour.
I want you to tell me why Aslan had to die. Tell me why Jesus had to die. The explain both of their deaths- where did they die, who killed them, what were the people saying?
Then explain to me what happened after Aslan and Jesus were dead? Why did this happen, and why are we SO thankful to GOd that this happened to Jesus??

Aslan had to die because he had to save Edmund otherwise Cair Parveil woulden`t have 2 kings and 2 queens which would mean that it would always be winter and never Christmas.. But he knew he would live because he has the deeper magic from before the dawn of time and the witch only has the deep magic from the dawn of time.
Jesus had to die for a lot more he had to save every one of us so we can go to heaven if we let him in our life. Then on the third day after his death he concured death and rose again.
Jesus died on a cross and Aslan died at the stone table. The witch killed Aslan and a bunch of evil people killed Jesus, and wile that was hapening they were constintly getting teased.

Aslan had to die to save Edmund. The Witch was going to kill Edmund. He died to show how his deeper magic was more powerful than theWitch's magic.

Aslan came to life afterwards and so did Jesus! That happened because their power is better than the Evil side. I am SO thankful that Jesus died because then all who believe in him will have eternal life in Heaven! That's something to be thankful for!!

After they were dead people wept because of their passing and then they came again and rose from the dead! This happened because God had to come again to show he truely was God's son to the deciples. We are thankful to God because God sent his son for us to die and forive our sins!

Aslan had to die to save Edmund from the White Whitch so she wouldn't kill Edmund. Aslan also had to die to show his amazing power to everybody in Narnia. Jesus had to die to save everybody from their sins and so that whoever believes in him shall have eternal life and shall not parish. Jesus also had to die to show his amazing power to the whole world just like Aslan. Aslan's and Jesus' deaths were both very sad to everybody who loved them Alsan's death was very cruel because the White Whitch had a muzzel put on him and his ropes on his body were very tight and because the White Whitch humiliated him by shaving his mane.
Jesus' death was also very cruel because they gambled for his clothes and they put a crown of thorns on his head and they put a sign above his head that read "King Of The Jews" and they mocked him by saying "If you really are the king of the Jews why don't you save yourself. They also made Jesus carry his own cross!!! Aslan died on the Stone Table in Narnia and Jesus died on a cross in the middle of two criminals. The White Whitch and her followers killed Aslan and the enemies of Jesus killed him because one of his diciples traded him in for money. When Aslan died the people were saying "Why don't you save yourself ha look at you now and when jesus died like I alredy said, said "If you truly are the king of the Jews why don't you save yourself". After Aslan was dead Lucy and Susan (who were whatching Aslan's death) came and huged Aslan and then aslan came back to life and he raced to the White Whitch's and turned the stone people to life and then all the people raced to the war and parshily helped deafeat the White Whitch.
After Jesus died he waited three days and then arose from the dead and then he appeared to his diciples and after a little while decended into heaven on a cloud. This happened to show everybody their power and that they could over come sin, Satin, and the White Whitch. We are so thankful to God that this happened to Jesus because then if he didn't die then we wouldn't be able to go to heaven.

The people that killed those two were mocking them both. They spit on Jesus, they shaved off Aslan's mane, They gave Jesus a crown of thornes, they called Aslan just a little pussy cat. People didn't realize that the person they had just killed would come back to life.
Once Aslan was dead Lucy and Susan ran out of their hiding spot and started to wipe away the blood from Aslan's wound. Then they tried untying the ropes, but they were to tight. Then mice started to come and knaw at the ropes. They knawed away and pretty soon the ropes were lose. Lucy and Susan were just going back home when they heard the stone table crack. Aslan explained to the girls that if somebody dies for somebody else, they die willingly, and they die for no crime they will come back to life.

There was two other people on the hill where the poeple had to carry the huge heavy wooden crosses up to. One person on the cross next to Jesus was a sinner. He said things like,"If you are the King why don't you get us down from here." Now you and I know that is not nice to say to a real God, but this guy was not nice at all. The person on the other side was willing to go up to heaven, and he trusted in Him. Now what was that Fruit of the Spirit that had to do with trusting in the Lord?..... Oh yea, Faithfulness. This person had faith in God. We should do the same as him. The people at the bottom of the hil were saying rude and nasty things that we should never say. To humilliate Him, they put a sign on his cross that said,"KING OF THE JEWS."

The white witch was the one who killed him, she stabbed him with her long knife that she had sharpend.
After Alan was dead He came back to life by a deeper magic. Jesus came back to life in 3 days. This is a nother mericle of God. I am so thankful to God that this happend to him because if He didn't do this we would NOT need HIM any more. I would NEVER want that to happen.

Aslan had to die, so Edmund could be saved. Jesus had to die,
so we could be saved fom our sins and be able to go to Heaven! Alan's death was terrible, hummiliating, and sad as Aslan walked twared the stone table.(That's where he was killed). All the wicked ghosts, animals, and other creaturs swarmed around him

Aslan had to die, he had to die for Edmuund the traider.He[Edmund]had traided over to the witch's side just for some turkish delight.If Aslan hadn't died for him he to would've died.Now, you might think Aslan did something very domb, because no one can save Edmund,now.It just so happens that Aslan has a magic made way before the witch's, and that magic means that if someone dies for another someone you will come back to life.Jesus had to die to save us from our sinful lives.He had to sufer being whiped before he died.3 days after his death he rose.Both Jesus and Aslan's death was terifying, but Jesu's was in the desert, or like that, and Aslan died on the stone table.The witch killed Aslan with her sharp cold knife.Jesus died on the tree.I am so thankful for Jesus dying for us because all we have to do is repennt, but we really have to mean it.
Asalan had to die because the white Witch was going to kill Edmund. So Aslan and the witch had a long talk until finally they came out. The witch asked Aslan,"how do I know you'll keep the promise?" Aslan roared so mean and load that the White Witch went running for dear life.
Then that night Aslan left Lucy, Susan,Peter, and Edmund, but when he left he must have woke Lucy and Susan because they noticed he was not there. So they got up out of where they were sleeping and started to looked around for him. They saw him so they decided to follow him. Then Aslan saw them and asked,"why are you following me?" Lucy and Susan replied,"we wanted to know where you were going. Can we please come with you?"
Aslan said, "yes, but when I tell you to stop you must stop, and hide. Do NOT let anyone see you." "Ok" said both the girls.
Aslan said to stop and the girls did, and they hi themselves in the bushes. The girls saw the witch tie Aslan up. They did not see the actual killing of Aslan because they could not bare to look.
Jesus had to die because he saved us from our sins. Jesus had to carry a big heavy cross. He fell three times. Jesus was nailed to the cross for us.
Aslan died on the stone table for the human traitior. The White Witch killed Aslan. Her followers were saying things like,"would you like a saucer of milk pussums." And,"how many mice have you caught today,cat." they also spit, sneered, and jeered at him.
Jesus was killed by the Romans. The people were saying things like,"if your God save yourself."
And they spit on him.
After Jesus was dead they took the cross down, and put the body in a tume, but on the third day of his death the Mary and some of her friends went to go pray to him, but the stone was rolled away.
They went in, but there was no body. We are thankful that Jesus died on the cross because our sins were forgiven.
