She captured a horned toad and tested her teacher the testing worked. If Iwhere Janey I wold not like always moveing. If I captured a horned toad I wold keep it too. I also wold think that the teacher wold be nice.I will still like going to a town school.I wold not like just siting waiting for school to start.

Janey doesn't have a permanent home. Because her dad is a migrant worker he is always moving around. Janey feels sad and gloomy about her life because she can never stay in one place and can never have "real" friends. The plate reminds her of her real home and Janey finds a place that reminds her of the plate.
At school Janey thinks her teacher will be like all the other teachers get it done and do it right teachers. At school Janey thinks it will just be plain jumble bumble. People will have learned different things and other wouldn’t have even hears of it. But when the new teacher comes it isn’t like she thought it would be. The teacher knows what to do If you are good in reading but bad in arithmetic. She can see that some peoples’ legs can’t touch the floor and others can so she lets everyone take breaks and lets them rest or move around. Janey has a way better day than she thought she would.:)
If I was Janey I would have felt left out. I probably would have been like Janey and wanted to go to town school. I wouldn’t want to go to some town school with kids I don’t even know. How SCARY!!!!! I would have felt exited to if my dad or mom was a migrant worker. I would be able to see new places. I could meet new people. But it would also mean I could get close to people then have to move again. I would have also felt gloomy. I would have hated it.

Janey does not live anywhere reall.y, because her father is a migrant worker. She lives there because her father is a migrant worker. She does not feel very good because she has to always move around and she doesn't get to be with her friends for very long. She also has a very cool plate that her great-great grand mother gave her and she always brings it with her when they move to different places. She does not feel very good with her school because she really wanted to be with all of the other kids at the other school untill she meets a good teacher that she likes the best because she found a horned toad and allot of the other kids kept saying that it was a horned lizard so she gives it to her teacher so that if her teacher thinks that it is a horned toad, then the teacher would agree, unlike all of the other taeches that she has, they were all mean to her and always not agreeing with her.

If I were Janey, I would feel very sulkily if I had to go to a different school then all of my other friends went to. But I would be very indifferent even though I would want to go to the other school with the other kids. But I would feel very happy if I found a friend who was a teacher, just like her. I would have also felt bad though, if I had to move around if my dad was a migrant worker. But I would have gotten very used to it. I would have liked having a good teacher like her and like Miss Te Sla, our teacher. I would have felt just like her, being very sad.

Today I'm going tot ell you about the story The Blue Willow. Janey lives wherever her dad has to work because he’s a migrant worker and that's what they do. Janey feels very sad that she has to live there because she always has to make new friends and go to different schools. Janey always takes the plate along when she moves though because it reminds her of the home she used to have. Janey really likes her teacher because she doesn't call a horn toad a horned lizard. Janey helps the teacher get ready for school and Janey even make new friends. I would feel frustrated but then I met a nice horned toad. I would feel sad at first if I were Janey because I would have to keep switching schools. I would also feel very lonely at first because I would have no friends. But then once I met my teacher I would feel very happy because she is the nicest teacher I had ever had. I would also be happy because I'm making new friends. But sometimes I would feel scared because I might have to move again. I would feel very interested in school because I would get to tell the other kids all of the cool places I've been to. I would also feel very thankful for all that I have. The Blue Willow is a great book I think you should read it.

I am going to tell you about the story Blue Willow.

Janey doesn't have a home. She doesn't have a home because her father and her family always had to move around to help the farmers that needed help. Janey doesn't like her fathers job because she just wants to have a home to stay in. Janey and her family can only take the stuff that they need when they travel. one thing that Janey always takes with is the blue willow plate. She takes the blue willow plate because it reminds her of when she actually had a real home.

Janey doesn't like the country shools she just wants to go to the regular shool, because she had a friend there. When janey was sittingon the country shool steps she fell, but when she got uf she was holding a horned toad. She was going to test her teacher if she was a friend or just correct. She was going to do this by showing her teacher it and to see if her teacher was going to call it a horned lizard, or a horned toad. If she called it a horned toad she would be a friend, but if she called it a horned lizard she would be correct.

If I were Janey in this story i would feel sad and happy at the same time. I would feel sad because you alway have to pack everything and travel a lot. I also would not like to be her because you always have to lose your friends. If I were Janey I would be happy because you would find new friends. I would also be happy if I were her because she found out that she had a nice teacher. I wouldn't like to be her because she had to find new friends and that takes time. I would like to be her because she found a horned taod and i would like to hold on sometime. I wouln't like to be her because she sometimes had to go away from her family. I would like to be her because she found lots of animals where she went. I also would like to be her because she had some thing to remind her of home.

Blue Willow

We are reading the story Blue Willow. Janey lives mostly anywhere here father gets a job because he is a migrant worker. There is this blue willow plate that they take anywhere they go because it belonged to her great-great-grandmother. The significance of the plate is the school reminds her of the blue willow plate.
First when Janey’s father dropped her off at school she saw a horned toad. She thought to herself when the teacher comes I will test her. If she says oh look a horned lizard I will not have a lot of respect for her. But if she says oh look a horned toad Janey will have a lot of respect for the teacher. Then the teacher came and said oh a horned toad. Then Janey felt a whole lot better. The whole day went really well.
If I was Janey I would feel a whole lot worse the she was. Probably every morning I would be the grumpiest kid because you would ever meet. Maybe every week your dad would get a call to go somewhere else. You would always be at a different school and you would never have a permanent friend. And probably every teacher is the same. She or he is always getting new kids. And where you go you would feel different because of the temperature. Maybe I would be learning the same stuff. Maybe I wouldn’t be learning the same stuff. I would not like to be janey

We are reading the story Blue Willow.Janey lives all over the United States. She is living there because her dad is a Migrant worker.Janey does not like her life there because she can't make many friends and she dosn't like her teacher. The significance of the plate is huge because it was givin by her great-great grandma. Her expirencce was good because she found a good teacher that has some knowledge. And how she found that out was a test she caught a horned toad so she went up to the teacher and if the teacher called it a horned toad she would be happy if she called it a horned lizard she lost trust in the teacher the teacher said,"It is a horned toad so Janey was happy.
If I were Janey I would feel very very sad.The reason I would feel that way is I would have no friends. And if I didn't have a good teacher I would be very mad.I would not like to be moving to diffrent places. And not have any true friends. And if I were with kids from other schools. I might be behind and I might be ahead. Because they are all frome different states and schools. But if found some friends and a good teacher. I would be just fine. I would like to stay in one town and not move. So if my dad was a migrant worker I would not be very happy.

I am going to tell you all about the book The Blue Willow. Janey lives wherever her dad lives because he is a migrant worker. She is always moving around the U.S. She feels horrible and she is sulkily indifferent about what is going on around her. Whenever she finds a place that she finds that is similar to the plate she likes it.

When Janey arrives at school she is very sulky. Then she catches a Horned Toad and she is delighted. She thinks to herself this is how I will test to see if she is a friend or merely correct. When Miss Peterson arrives Janey shows her the Horned Toad. Miss Peterson said, “Well a Horned Toad. Did you catch it?” That was how she knew that she was a friend. That day for Janey it was the best day of her life.

If I were Janey I would be so mad and sad but if I got a teacher like Miss Peterson I would feel all that madness and sadness would go away!! She would make me fell that I belong to the classroom. If I traveled all the time like Janey I would get tired of all the new teachers that I got. If I had a good teacher then I would fell better and that I actually belonged in this world. I would hate moving all the time so I think I would fell just like Janey. I would be jealous of the kids that got to go to the school in town. I would try to be happy but it would be hard. I would be worried about safety because we traveled all the time. I would trust in the Lord to get us there safely. That is how I would fell if I were Janey!!

Janey, in the book Blue Willow is very distressed because her father is a migrant worker so her family has to move a lot. Their family would only take the necessities except for a blue willow plate that was passed down from Janey’s great-great-grandmother. The plate reminded them of when their family actually a place to call home.

Janey loathed moving because it meant another year of camp school. Camp schools are schools that are set aside for the migrant worker’s children who move all of the time. Janey dreaded going to the camp school because it would remind her every day that she was an outsider. If I were Janey I would probably feel exactly the way she would, frustrated and up-set.

When Janey got to school she caught a toad and made him her pet. Janey also met her teacher, Miss Peterson, and Janey thought the world of her. She had a really great first day and made some really great friends.

If I were her I would probably sound like this, “Today was a really great day! I met lots of new friends! At first, like always, I really wanted to go to the district school but I thought it was no use asking dad because his words were final. It was also no use asking to help him with in the fields. That question would never get by. So there I sat, on the step of the school house wishing I could go somewhere where I would belong.

At that very moment something caught my eye. I bent down and caught it. It turned out to be a horned toad! After that, the teacher arrived. She called my toad a toad instead of a lizard which made me very pleased. My new teacher is really nice. I was so exited I pranced on tip-toe! Wow, that was a wonderful first day.”

I’m going to tell you about Janey’s life and why it was so hard for her. The reason that her life was so hard is because that she was always moving that was because her father was a migrant worker that means that he went to wherever they needed help. Janey lived about every where in the U.S. The reason she is where she is because her father was called to go there and work. She dose not like where she is because she always has find new friends and at her school she is suppose to know things that she never had a chance to learn and other lessons she would be way to far a head.

When she was waiting for school to start she caught a horned toad so she decided to test her new teacher. When the teacher came to school Janey said “ Look.” And the teacher called it a horned toad so Janey likes her new teacher!!!!!!!!

If I was Janey I would not liked to be where she is. She most be mad because I would be mad about always moving. And I never would be able to stay with my friends. Even when she gets comfortable she would have to move then. But it is not all bad because sometimes good things happen. Like when she was at school something amazing happened! With her teacher that would be great and it was probably the most fun she had in a wile. If I was her I would be so excited!!!!!!!!!!!! There are probably a lot of emotions she had. And I don’t know the rest of the story.

Blue Willow.
The Blue Willow tells about a girl named Janey that is very sad because she has to go to school and move place to place doing different stuff. Janey doesn’t really live necessarily any were because she moves somewhere different ever time. She only lives there because her dad is a migrant worker. Janey first doesn’t like it at her school because she thinks her teacher will be mean. Janey really loathed having to go to school because all she wanted to do is work with her father in the field. All that made Janey happy was a blue willow plate that her great-great grandmother gave to her.

When Janeys dad dropped her off at school Janey sat on the schools step waiting. Wile Janey was waiting she thought how nice or mean her teacher will be. Then she saw a movement before her. It was a horned toad. Then an idea pop up in her head. Janey would test her new teacher on if she would call it a horned toad Janey would know she was a friend. If the new teacher called it a horned lizard Janey would know she was a foe.

If I were Janey I would probably also feel left out like she did. I sometimes feel left out, and then when someone comes over to me I feel that I’m not left out. When it was Janey’s first day she really didn’t have any friends and that relates to real life. Janey is some how like us. We don’t know what is around the corner. Everybody has a great first day just like Janey. We all are scared on the first day of school. Janey made friends on the first day of school, and she didn’t think she would. It’s just like me. First I don’t think I will make friends then I do. Some times life doesn’t turn out the way you want it to.

BLUE WILLOW EXPLANATION
Janey felt really bad because she had to go to a school where she was taught the same things as other schools, but she was a migrant worker. She moved from school to school and wouldn’t know anyone. So one day she was in the car with her dad and she was sad because she had to go to the country school instead of the district school that she thought was better. Her friend, Lupe, was going to the district school and she also wanted to be with Lupe. Her father was making her go to the migrant camp school. She was pouting. So then she got there and found a horned toad. Some called it a horned lizard, for that was the proper way to say it. Only nice people called it a horned toad, but the strict and proper ones called it a horned lizard. So when her teacher got there she recited mother goose and then Janey showed her the horned toad and she called it a horned toad. Janey was really happy. The plate she has is the only common object she always takes when she moves around. It is a blue willow plate and it was her great grandmothers. She thinks it is very important, which it is, because it as from a long time ago. So she is now happy, even though she was sad before.

Janey’s teacher was now Ms. Peterson. She likes her and so would I. she is really nice in the book. At first I would feel like Janey did-sad and alone. But when I met Ms. P I would feel a lot better. I would keep the horned toad, though, and by the way they named it Fafnir. I would be happy at school and know that Lupe would never have a teacher as nice as mine. I would hope we would stay in the place, because I would want to stay with Lupe and Ms. P. I would hope we would work there forever. I would always keep in touch with my teacher somehow, maybe pen pals or something. I would love to tell Lupe my adventures at school and I would tell her all about my teacher and about every student in my class. I would always stay in touch with her if we went in different places, unless we got to know her so well we traveled with her. I hope you can find the book somewhere and read it- its good and sometime maybe I will read it again someday. L8er, I’m out.

Janey doesn’t really have a permanent home; she lives on different migrant farms every time her dad has to move to work somewhere. Janey lives there and keeps moving again and again because her dad is a migrant worker and he has to work wherever he is needed.

Janey feels really bad about her life there. She didn’t like her life there because it was boring and she had to go to a camp school and not a “regular” town school. She was afraid her teacher would be strict. She knew that she would be way ahead of some kids and way behind some other kids.

“The plate” was something her great- great- grandmother gave to her; it reminded her of when her family actually had a permanent home.

I think Janey had a really good experience at school. She was sitting on the school steps and she saw something in the dust; she picked it up, and she thought of a plan to test her new teacher using the horned toad.

If I were Janey I would feel really mad. I would feel mad because I wouldn’t like moving all the time. I have never moved in my life so that would also feel strange. I also wouldn’t like moving because I would just make some friends and then I would have to move again. I would also feel sad. I would feel sad because it would be sad to make a new friend and then have to move again. I would also feel sad because I couldn’t be like a normal person. I would feel mad because I would never get my way. I would not like being Janey. I feel bad for her.

Janey really does not live any were because her Dad is a migrant worker. So they have to keep on moving because people need him to do their work. I bet her life is really not that enjoyable because she has no friends and if she meets any friends she has to say good bye to them right after they met. I would also not like to go to the camp school because it would get really craze and you would be expected to know any thing the other kids know and every body would be all different ages and if you didn't know something the others kids new you would feel really weird.

The significance of the plate is it reminds her of the time when she had a home and maybe of her Great Great grandmother because it was from her grandmother when they move place to place they only the stuff they need in life. Buy Janey thought that her plate was something she needed in life so she keeps it with her were everywhere she goes. So I guess that plate was a very import plate.

Janey really did not want to go to another school and then have to live right away. Before Janey’s teacher came (Ms. Peterson) to school Janey planed a little idea to see if Ms. Peterson was going to be her friend or always correcting things. So she found a horned toad and was going to show her the horned toad and to see if she calls it a horned lizard or a horned toad and if she called it a horned toad she would be her friend but if she called it a horned lizard she would always be correcting things. So she did and Ms. Peterson called it a horned toad so she was a friend not always correct. She did that at all the schools she went to.

If my dad or someone I live with was migrant worker and we had to move around every were I think that would stink. Because you would never have a real friend to stay with for even a year. That would not be all I would not like there would be many more like not having the same teacher every day. Not having a home would stink to and only taking what you need in life I would not like that. And you would have to ride in a car all the time just like the car is your home. And if you did meet a friend you would have to say buy to them right after you meet them. That is what I think.

I am going to tell you some things about Janey a person in the story of Blue Willow. Janey lives on a farm and sometimes different places. She lived there because her dad was a migrent worker witch means that they move around to find jobs. Janey feels indifferent about her live. That means she really dosen't care about her live. She has a plate that reminds her of when she had a home. The plate was her great great grandmas. Janey didn't like school and she wanted to go to a regular school ensted of a camp school. When Janey met her teacher she showed her a horind toad and the teacher liked it, so Janey liked her and was glad she went there. If I were Janey I would probily feel like my life really didn't matter. That whatever I did wouldn't make a difference.I really wouldn't like school.Iwould fell like there isn't much use for it because we would always be moving around. That is how I would feel.

The Blue Willow
We have bine reading about Janey and the Blue Willow. Janey is a wong girl that has to move all around because her dad is a migrant worker. A Janey life all over the United States since her dad’s job makes her move around a lot. But right now she is living in the cottan fields. Because her dad has to pick the cotton. Janey loathes living all around she just wants to stay in one place. When Janey moves the only thing that she takes with her every time is the plate from her great Grandmother.

On the first day that janey go's to school wall she is waiting for school to start she catches a horned toad. To see if the teachers nice she shoes her the horned toad if s he calls a horned toad she is a nice teacher. Not like all the other teachers who called it a horned lizard. The teacher calls it a horned toad she is so exited! This is the first teacher to call it a horned toad. She thinks that not even the town school gets a teacher like this.

If I was Janey I would hate having to go to another school all the time. Never getting to stay with my friends , that I’ve made at one school. Or the way that the school learning program is different in all the schools. But it would be cool to see all the different landforms and all the other country. But just meeting one best teacher’s in the world / the best is Mrs. Taslaa. But I would think it was a miracle that the horned toad just happened to show up. I think that the most important thing is that I love wild life so to live in a wonderful place. But why wouldn’t my dad let me work in the fields. I think am strong a nuff to pick in the field. When all the other kids shode up I would try to make friend with them. But I pretty sure I couldn’t have done it the way Janey did any better
