I think that Abraham Lincoln was a good president because he freed the slaves. He also stoped the other half of the states from forming there own nation! Another reason I liked him was because he won the civle war too!
but it all started from the south for wanting slavery. But more than 600,000 people died in that war. That was the worst war ever. but the super super super super sad part is(well all of it was sad)Abraham Lincoln was shot on his third month on his secod term.
He freed the slaves. I think when he freed the slaves he was being brave. I think that he thought when he singhed the Emancipation Proclamation he knew a lot of people would dislike him but he was doing the right thing. I also think he was a good president because he didn't back down when times got tuff. He also didn't give up either.
And because of Abraham Lincoln black people are now free. Also because of Abraham Lincoln he got realected but sadly he only enjoyed 3 months of his second term. Because John Wilkes Booth shot him in the back of the head. After that Andrew Jackson had to take his place. That's why I think president Lincoln was a good president.
I do think presedent Abraham Lincoln was a good presedent because he freed the slaves in the south states of Amarica so it all started when the south bomed the north.
More than 600,000 people died in the cival war. cival means that one coutry is fighting itself. The war was over when the suoth serendered to the north. Then Abraham Lincoln was realected presedent of the United States. one mounth later he was shot by john booth.
I do think president Lincoln was a good man becouse he let the slaves go and tried to stop war. President Lincoln was a brave man and a honest man to. when president lincoln saw the war he was mad becouse the south was fighting aginst there own the country and the south did not like Abraham Lincoln.
In 1865 Abraham was watching a play and John Booth shot him in the back of his head. When people haered about that they were veary sad.Mr.Abraham was a good president and a truthful and nice president.
I do think President Lincoln was a good President because he wanted the slaves to have freedom. But the south wanted slavery,so they started the Civil War.
And when the Civil War started he did not like it. He got news that more people where dieing. He hated sending out more solgers to war. And when more people died it broke Lincoln's heart.
I do think president Adraham Lincoln wass a good president because he that he thent the slaves go,and be free for the they work. And president Abraham Lincoln besause the was a very kind man and a very good man. He want slavery to stop, and he went the U.S.A, to go together. The had a war agest the North part of the U.S.A.,and the South part of the United States.
It was not offin that a courty would have a war agest there each athor it is called the CIver War. And the north win the Civer war. Finely, Abraham Lincoln was assassinateed dy Jonh Booth.
I think he was a good president because he sighned the E.P, and he
ran really far when he was a boy to give 6 cents to a man. He led the North to victory in the Civil war.
The on thing that really stood out was that hehad the nick name honest Abe, because almost never ever lied in his life. One day he was at fords theater and a gun shot rang out,John Wilks booth shot Abraham Lincoln. Then he jumped off the belcony and broke his leg, but got away,12 days later they found him and shot him.
I think Abraham Lincoln was a good preident. He was a good president because he gave freedom to the slaves. He even started the Civil War.
Sadly, he was assassinated in the Fords Theater by John Wilks Booth. John was from an acting family. He thought that by killing Lincoln he would be famous to the people who wanted to keep thier slaves. Lincoln was sitting on the balkony when Booth shot him.
I think that president Lincoln was a good president because he freed the slaves. He sald he didn't start the war. He won the battle over slaves. He made our contrey united agian. he knew what was riht and wrong.
He knew it was wrong to kill. he read the bible and prayed.He did what was right. He never lied at all. He honored the people that died in war for our contrey.
I do think prisident Lincoln was a good president because he stopped slavery, helped win a war, and was really honest( thats were he got the nickname honest abe).
Abraham Lincoln grew up really poor but he still learned a lot and he loved to read ( like me).
He first went for senat than for congress and last for president. Abraham Lincoln was a hero.
I do think President Abraham Lincoln was a good president because he was a brave person that never gave up. He wanted to free the slaves and the people in the south didn't like that. He still didn't give up when there were thousands of people in the south that HATED him. Then the Civil War had begun. Thousands of people died tohelp the slaves have freedom. I think Abraham Lincoln was the best president the United States has ever had.
I forgot to add that President Lincoln had a document called the Emancipation Proclomation. HE wanted to set ALL of the slaves free so he started the Emancipation Proclomation. Abraham Lincoln was AWSOME!!!
I think President Abraham Lincoln was a good president because he did not want slavery. Slavery is bad. So he said,"I think there should be no more slavery." One week later the South bombed the North because they disagreed with President Lincoln.
This caused a war. This war was called the CIVIL WAR. This war killed 62,000 men! That was very sad to their family. So the North gave up! The slaves are free! Than he got reelected. Three months later when he and his wife were watching a play. It was very nice for him, but he got shot by John Booth.
John jumped off the belcony and broke his leg. So he hoped on his horse and went all the way to Virginia and hid in a barn. It took them one week to find him. he thought he was helping the US by killing him, but we all know he was wrong.
I think Abraham Lincoln was a good president because he wanted to free slaves and he did. He also brought us throgh the Civil War. He sighned the Emanipation Proklamation witch gave slaves freedom.
President Linclon was in a poor family. He was born in Kentucky. There he surveyed and split rails. He also loved to read. He would walk miles just to get a book. He was very inteligent.
I think He was a great president because he was very inteligent to make good dicissens. He was kind and did what was fair. He was also tough and not afraid . He was a very hard worker, he perservered and kept trying to become president. He was a very ggod man.
I do think President Lincoln was a good president because he freed the slaves. There never would of been a war if the Confederates wouldn't of bombed the Union. I know that the Confederates were doing wrong because God made everyone in his image and that people shouldn't be judged by the color of one's skin. If the south wouldn't have given up we would have lost tons of people in that one war. People died to fight for their side which made the Civil War the bloodiest the United States has ever known.
The war lasted four years before the Confederates surrendered. Five days after the war ended Lincoln was assassinated by a man named John Wilkes Booth. Twelve days later Booth was found in a barn and tried to escape but a man shot at his arm and hit him in the neck which killed Booth. Everybody was mourning the loss of a great president.
I think president Lincoln was a good president because he wanted the slaves to be free. He also was a good president because he wanted everybody to have a life of there own not by being slaves for there whole lifel. Mr. Lincoln also was a good president because he was a nice man and a brave man to set the slaves free. He was also a good president because he never lost faith that hopefully some day the slaves would be free.
When Lincoln was president he never got so made of the fact that the slaves where still in slavery, but he did get very sad that a lot of peple died during the Civil War.
I do think President Abraham Lincoln was a good president beacause he was honest and if he was not honest we would not have had him as president. That he we brave and if he wasn't brave he wouldn't have send solders to fight in war. That he was kind if he wasn't kind he wouldn't have free the slaves. That he had read books about it so he knows what to do.
That he was skilled to not go to school and to learn a little on his oun. That he fought in war and did not just give up. That he was strong even when his kid was dieing. That he was thoughtful and thankful for what has happened.

I do think President Abraham Lincoln was a good presdent because he was the most hated president but he kept going for what he believed in. He wanted to free the slaves, but the south didn't. So they started a war among their own country. In that war over 20,000 people were killed. Lincoln felt bad for them, but said they did it for a good reason.
Abraham Lincoln did a lot. He got re-elected, but he only got three months. John Wilkes Booth shot him in Ford's Theatre. He did a lot during his presidency. Booth got away for 12 days after he shot Lincoln. He was help the south.
I think Abe Lincoln was a good president.He was good because he freed the slaves, and helped win the Civil War! And fought through the tough times that he and his family had. He was also very kind, very honest, and very hard working.
He always knew that what God did was right!He always tryed his best in his work.The most important thing was that he would help the home less.I loved learning about president Abraham Lincoln!
I do think President Lincoln was a good president because he freed the slaves and he was very brave. Abraham Lincoln was born in Ketucky and later moved to Indiana when he was about 8 years old. Then his mother died when he was about 10. Then he moved to Illinois. His dad got remarried. Then when he was older he married Mary Todd Lincoln.
The south thought slaves were alright, but President Lincoln didn't. In fact the Civil War happened. President Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation which said that all slaves were free. The south hated this and fought even harder. Over 600,000 people died in the war. Abraham Lincoln thought of himself the saddest man because of all the deaths. April 14, 1865 which was 5 days after the civil war ended and 3 months after he was reelected. He was at Ford's Theater wathching "Our American Cousin" he was probably the most happy man, but then it all changed John Wilkes Booth came up behind Lincoln and shot him in the head. Since they were the balcony they were high up and easy to shoot. Then Booth jumped from the balcony, broke his leg and ran off. There was only one way out of the town, the river. that did not bother Booth so he went across in a barn which started on fire when the people came to arrest him. Then a guy was aiming for hin arm, but shot him in the neck and then he died. His dying words were "Tell mama I did it for the country" because he thought he was doing good.
I do think President Abraham Lincoln was a good president because he came to free the slaves when tere where a bunch of people that hated him for doing that and I also think Abraham Lincoln was a good president because henever gave up on the CIVIL WAR.(Fun Fact)Did you Know Abraham Lincoln was the tallest president he was 6ft 4in I think that 1ft 2in was counting his but thats just a little joke HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I think Abraham Lincoln was a good president because in the war Lincoln had to make hard decisions when the south was winning he got mocked but he wae strong he made good desions for our country.
Abraham got elected twice but two days after the war d ended and the north had ended a shot rang out in Ford's theater, Abraham lincoln was brought to a small house and he died that night. Abe got shot bye a actor named John Wilkes Booth he was on the runwith a broken leg it was the largest man hunt ever booth crossed the river with his partner and went to a barn and said, They where the north's solidgers that were wounded so they let them stay in the barn 12 days later they came to the people who let both and his partner stay in the barn the people said two people are in that barn booth didn't come out so they set the barn on fire on solidger shot booth he ment to shoot booth in the arm but got him the neak he died three hours later. Abe was agood president.

If we weren't so greedy all the time maby our lifes would be easier, like Abes.When Abe was a little boy he lost his mom. So he had to do all the choirs around the house, but he didn't complane. Thats why he's president.
I think Lincoln was a great president beacause he was brave and kind.Lincoln had two sons and when Lincoln was president the North and the South were fighting against each other beacause the South wante slavery and Abe said in a speech no slavery and the South got very mad at him they wanted to kill him. After a while one of Abe's sons died from a bad disceses. One night Lincoln was at a theater called Ford's Theater and a guy named John Wilk's Booth came up behind Abe and shot him. 3 days later the guys burned the barn and Booth tried to run away with his broken leg from when he jumped down from tht high booth and a guy shot Booth.
