Dear Mrs. Mulder, we are praying for your family. I would like to tell you about some of the Fruits of the Spirit. One is patience we all need patience. There is also peace we have to have peace in times of worry.

At the end of the year I am looking forward to going to the lake cabin. My family has a lake cabin in Minnesota. I can’t wait to go. I love tubing on the lake. We are located at Lake Hendricks.

I hope Isaiah gets better. I’ll bet that the whole school is praying for him and your whole family. I hope you have a great summer vacation. What’s your favorite thing to do on summer vacation? What do you like best about school? Please write back to the class.

LOVE,
Nathan!!!!

Dear Mrs. Mulder,
I hope Isaiah is doing better. We are praying for you and you’re family. We have been talking about the Fruits of the Spirit in class and we think that you and you’re family could use them. I think you need to have all of them but here are some BIG ones that I think you’ll need: Peace, Patience, Joy, and Love!

At the end of the school year in June I am going to go to North Carolina to see my Aunt, Uncle, and my new baby cousin, Karl. That’s going to be fun! What are you going to do over the summer?

Do you think Isaiah will get better? I hope so. By the way please write back to us sometime. It will be nice hearing from you.

We’re praying for you,

From Miss TeSlaa’s 4th grade,

Dear Mrs. Mulder,
Thanks again for being such a great computer lab teacher. We, as a class, have been working really hard on the Fruits of the Spirit. (-and no, an orange is not a fruit of the spirit) I hope that God will give you these fruits of the spirit:

LOVE- Even when times are tough God still loves you.

PEACE- Have peace when your son is sick.

PATIENCE- Even though this may be tough you have to be patient when you want to things to go quicker.

I hope Isaiah is doing fine and I want you to know that our class is praying for you!!!! Everything is going fine in Miss TeSlaa’s class. Like everyone else, I am dying of Spring Fever!!!! I can’t wait ‘til school out! ( I’ll miss the great teachers though. ) What I really mean is that I can’t wait ‘til I get to play outside in the warm summer air.

Once again, thank-you for being such a great teacher and I hope your son gets better soon.

Dear Mrs. Mulder,
I am praying for you. I hope that Isaiah is feeling better. I know that it is hard when you have to wait to get the results from tests. You have to wait in the doctor’s office for a long time. I know that if you trust in God he will give you patience.
In Social Studies we are doing a South Dakota Unit. In this unit we get to learn about Lewis and Clark one of the two most famous people known to the Midwest. Mt. Rushmore the monument everyone loves. Early South Dakota and modern South Dakota. A lot of other things too. To go along with this unit we get to go on some really fun field trips. We get to go to the Pettigrew Museum. And we get to go to Garretson to go see Devil’s Gulch.
In Science we are studying owls. In groups we are going to start dissecting owl pellets. Ewww! We have to look for bones and then we have to put them together to create an animal. Whatever that owl ate we will find in the pellet.
In Math we are studying polygons. We are also learning how we can identify them. I do not like to identify polygons. It’s like being put inside a torcher chamber with polygons everywhere. That is what I think of math.
In Bible we are studying the Fruits of the Spirit. Love. Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, Goodness, Faithfulness, and Self-Control. I know that it is sometimes hard to have peace and patience when you are at the doctors or with Isaiah. I sure do hope Isaiah is felling well!
With hope,
Selene

Symphony, and a lot of field trips coming up like devils gulch, Field Day, Pettigrew museum, the skating party and a bunch of other stuff. And I am going to miss going to the computer lab and typing to you and all the other stuff you showed us. I think my typing has improved a ton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It ha been a very fun year when you help us with computer lab and other things.

Hi Mrs. Mulder how are you doing. In class we are praying for you and in church to. How is Isaiah doing. It must be really hard for you to go back and forth to doctor’s offices and going back home. Man fourth grade has been a blast. We have learned about lots of stuff this year. Thank you for doing all the things that you did with us at the computer lab.

Some stuff that I’ve learned is that it is really cool being in the big school. And that you and Miss Te Slaa are awesome teachers no doubt about that. And we have learned some fruits of the spirit. When you are in the doctor’s office when you waiting for some results and it is taking so long just have some patience. And another one is just to have peace.

This week we are going to dissect owl pellets. And we have just started learning about our South Dakota unit. We have been learning about Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse and Custer State Park. So how has your family been doing. I hope Isaiah gets better because then we can shoot hoops back at church. Also this week we will be going to the symphony well today we are. And also this week we will be going to the Pettigrew Museum and we will be going to Devil’s Gulch . Can’t wait to see you back in church. Tell Isaiah hi from Joey.

Sincerely, Joey Ten Napel

Dear mrs.Mulder,
I hope that Isaiah feels better soon and I hope that he'll recover very quickly. We are learning about the fruits of the spirit and I hope that you'll have patience and don't worry because God will always be with you. Also have peace, I know that you are struggling with this but you just have to have peace with it.

In school were learning about shapes and what there called. We've also been learning about bible verses that go along with our fruits of the spirit. Don't worry, God will protect you with everything that is going on. You also have to have faithfulness and know that God is protecting your son. And have faithfulness that he'll be all right.

And Gentleness, know that the doctors will take good care of him. God will always be with you. We are also going to be learning about owls and were going to dissect an owl pellet. We are going to be able to look what the owl ate and were going to see what the animal is going to be so were going to try to put the parts together and see what the animals was and what the owl ate. We are also going to be in groups when we do it. I can't wait until we get to dissect the owl.

Lately we've been having to throw away trash from the people that keep throwing the trash out. Miss Te Slaa said that we might have to clean up trash again bease if we clean up trash, they might just keep on doing it over and over.

Dear Mrs. Mulder and family,
We have been doing lots of things in class lately. We have mainly been talking about the Fruits ~of the~ Spirit. We have been learning about Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Goodness, and Self Control. My favorite one is Patience. You should like it, too, because you have to have a lot of patience with Isaiah.
(WE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU!!!!) I also liked peace. Have peace with the results; maybe they will be better next time. I hope that Isaiah is getting a lot better in every way.

We also have been talking about Earth Day.= ) We were picking up garbage from the ground and all over. It was everywhere! Somebody’s back yard was filled with garbage so we went and grabbed everything. There was even a huge diaper box! It was all over their lawn and stuff. We got most of it. (My partner and I) We worked together and pretty soon the garbage was pretty much gone. Our group went with Ms. Van Dekamp. There was also a “Ms.TeSlaa’s” group.

Austin and I picked up three, full and overflowing, bags of garbage. We used huge garbage bags and such so it was hard to carry. We didn’t win. I’m pretty sure that our class won against Mrs. Gibbon’s class, though. I thought there wouldn’t be much garbage, but I was so wrong!!! There were like tons of bags that just our class had!!!!!
I was surprised when we had to just throw away our bags and not even count them. I am glad that we could help, though. I was happy that we picked up so much garbage. We really helped the environment. I really was hoping it would get done soon though, because we went far. I was tired, but glad to help. We also have been praying for every devotion time and I am pretty sure ALL of us have prayed at home for you. I really hope he is getting better every week. Maybe even every day.

Anyway, everyone picked up at least two bags of garbage. It was really cool. At home I have visited the blog. I think you should read it with your family. It is very interesting. I am going to make a website with a blog sometime and I will let you know it. You can blog whenever you want. I will make one with a prayer chain for you guys.

Dear Mrs. Mulder,
We have been doing a lot this year, and I am going to tell you what we have learned from the Fruits of the Spirit. The Fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience and kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, self-control, and goodness.

Even though it is hard waiting for doctor results, just remember that God is in control of everything. Some of the Fruits of the Spirit’s that will help you are Peace, patience, and faithfulness. I also want you to know that everyday in devotions we pray for you and your family.= ) If you look sideways on the figure you can see a smiley face.

Peace will help you by having peace with the doctors and trusting them that they will do good with Isaiah. You can have patience by waiting patiently for results of Isaiah, and waiting patiently for the doctor to get done with Isaiah. Faithfulness can help you by knowing that God is in control of everything.

We also have just started learning about South Dakota. What we have learned so far about South Dakota is that it was a trading place. A lot of people from different places to trade for things. What we do after we read a little bit of South Dakota in a book is we draw what we learned in a little square.

Dear Mrs. Mulder and family,

Thank you for all you have showed and taught us. Today I am going to tell you about what we are leaning about in school. In Bible we are learning about the Fruits of the Spirit. Each day we are learning about a new one. Today we learned about Faithfulness. In the story of faithfulness Jesus goes out and says to certain people follow me and I will make you fishers of men. You always need to stay faithful to God no matter what you are going thru. All the disciples just dropped their net and followed Jesus not knowing what they were going to do.

Two Fruits of the Spirit that we have already studied are Peace and Patience. You need to have patience even though it is very hard waiting for all those results. Peace is another thing that you have to have. You have to know that everything will be alright.

Some things that are exciting in fourth grade are, today we are going to the Sioux Falls Symphony. On May 8th we are going to the Pettigrew Museum. On May 12th we are going to Devils Gulch, Garretson. The Day after that we are going to have a fourth grade Field Day. On May 19th we are having a skating party for all the fourth graders!!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE HELPED US WITH. It has been awesome having you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From,
Paul

Dear Mrs. Mulder,
We have been learning lot about the Fruits of the Sprits and what they mean. And since you and your family have been having a hard time we are going to tell you about some of them by the way we are praying for your family. Well like I was saying we are going to tell you some of them. Well even though you are having a rough time you need to have patience and wait to see if things are good are if things are bad. And also never blame GOD for the things that are happening with Isaiah and with your family. Still bless GOD because he is in control and he will help you on the bad days and on the good days he is always with you.

I am also going to tell you about the faithfulness fruit. Will I know Isaiah has days that are up and some that are down on the up days praise GOD and even on the day that are down pray to GOD. Well pray to GOD every day. And we are praying for him every day. We also are praying for you at our house all the time to. If things don’t go the way you want them too don’t blame GOD pray to GOD. GOD loves you so much that he always has something planed out for you and he is always by your side.

Now I am going to switch off from that and go to something’s we did at school that was exciting. Like oh yeah today we are going to the symphony to watch them play I think it will be really fun. This is a little off subject but I can’t wait till summer break. There is only like twelve and a half more day till school is out but it is not going to seem like twelve and a half it is going to seem like 8 more day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is going to by really fast. The year already went rally fast. Buy FROM: ALYSSA Remember GOD loves you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To all of my awesome 4th grade prayer partners...
Thank you so very much for your messages! We just got back from the doctor's office and these reminders from you made me smile (and cry a little, too) I think that you chose some very good Fruits to share with me. We certainly do need patience; I do really love Isaiah; and we pray for a feeling of peace as we go through all of this.

It sounds like your class is planning lots of fun things for the coming weeks! I hope that you do some blogging about your trips so that I can read about them. And you are studying some of my FAVORITE topics right now... South Dakota, Lewis and Clark, polygons, and owl pellets. These were things that I loved to teach when I did 4th grade.

I must compliment all of you on your excellent typing and writing! You have come a long way since we started working in the computer lab. Miss TeSlaa has done a great job of having you practice your typing. I am so glad that you have such a wonderful teacher who takes the time to get you into the computer lab and teach you how to do so many things with technology!

I hope that you all have a safe and fun summer! Isaiah and I will not get to swim this summer, so please hop in the pool a few extra times for us :-)

Mrs. Mulder
