We have just discussed the story of "David and Goliath!"
Give me a brief summary of the story.
Then tell me why the Israelites were so terrified that day, and why were the Philistines so confident?
In three or more sentences, tell me how you would have felt if
you were David on that day!!!

David went to the river and got 3 stones to fight goliath in the battel.And hit goliath in the head.The Israelites were so scared because goliath was so big.The Phistines were so confident because they were bigger than the Isrealites.If I were David I would feal confident because god would be with me.I know that for a fact because he was with David when he killed a bear and when David killed a lion.
There was a battle between Goliath and the Iserlites Goliath was confident because he was bigger.All of the soldiers were afrid of Goliath because he was bigger then them.Until David said he would fight him so he got 5 stones and threw them at him and he killed him!If I was David I would of felt good because God was on my side.Also because God is the one with all the power.Also because God had let me win battles befor too.
David nock Goliath down on the ground. David new god was with him and because god is rilly strong and powerful. Israelites were scared because the Philistines had Goliath. The Philistines were confident because they had Goliath. I would be scared because Goliath is so big.
But I now god is with me.And it would be frekky haveing sords fling at me.
David's brothers were in the war so David came to see them then he saw the gaint.Since no one would fight him David did . With a sling and a stone he hit the gaint in the mild of his head and he crashed in to the ground and die .Then he was a graet hero! The reason the Israelites were so scared is because the philines had that giant on their side .Thats why they were so confident .If I was David I would have been nerves but I would know that God was with me.It would have felt awesome to be a graet hero !!!!!!I would know that God was definatley with me !!!!
There was a war between Isreal and the Philistenes. They had a giant named Goliath. With him they thought they could win the battle. Then David ent and got 5 stones from the nearby riverbed. David took his sling shot and a stone he flung it and it hit Goliath right in the forehead. Then Goliathfell over dead. The Isralites were scared because the Philistines had a big giant to defend them. The Philistines were confident because they thought everyone would flee from them because of the giant and thought nobody could defeat Goliath. I would feel a little scared but then I would think of GOD being with me. Man just thinking of that giant makes me scared here. But if I was David I know GOD was with me. GODis always with you. Again if I was David I would have the jitters in my stomach everyone depending on me to kill the giant! Again though I would have a calmness comig over me from GOD.OK everybody is counting on me,take a deep breath remember GOD is with me. Oboy I would be scared. Then I kill the giant. "Horray", I would shout. Everyone would probbally say," Your great David I would say, " It wasn't me it was GOD."
There once was a war against the Israelites and the Philistines.And David was brining things to his brother's and the solger's wanted David to fight Goliath,so he did.they wanted him to were alot of armer.David tryed it on.He said"I can't were this.So he went to the river and got some stones.He went to Goliath and Goliath said"you won't beat me" and so David killed Goliath.The Israelites were skared and ran.The Iserelites were amazed at David.The Iserilites were skered because they thout they were going to lose with David.The Iserilites praised David and said"You are the best David"!At the begining they all thout that David would never win,but David really did.And that was the end of the story!
Goliath went to the Isrealites camp.When he got there he siad "who will fight me."But nobody answered. The next day he came back and asked the same question. David siad I will. Goliath laughed because he was the smallest one of his brothers. Goliath siadIwillcome tomorrow to fight. After that David went to Saul and asked him for armor. When David tried on the armor he wasn't use to it so after that he went to the stream and got five smooth stones. The next day when Goliath came to fight david was ready to fight. David took out his sling and five smooth rocks and then slung it to goliaths head and Goliath fell to the ground. The battle was over!! If I was David I would be to scared. If I had to do that I would say no. If I would run away.
We learned that the Philistines and the Israelites where in a battle.Then Davids Father said go give the people in the batel some food to them.He gave some food.The Isrlites where scard because the Philistines hsd a really really big person on there team.But they knew that God is with them!David said that he was going fight Goliath.He went to the battle fild and helped them figt him.The king din't think that was a good idea.I would be really really scard that the big guy would hurt me.I would not like it that he would not be on my team.

The Philasteens were so confdent becuse of Golith a 10 ft gint. That is also the reson that the Isreleiites were so scard.If I was Daved I wold run and hide.
